The research Group on Energy Optimization, Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics of University of Salamanca is open to support postdoctoral grants in the programs “Ramón y Cajal” y “Juan de la Cierva” funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
The research of the Group is focused to renewable energy systems, energy production through concentrated solar power (CSP) technologies, thermal energy storage (TES), and analysis and optimization of other energy conversion systems. Main characteristics of both postdoctoral programs:
- “Ramón y Cajal” (for ‘senior’ postdocs)
Possible applicants: PhDs graduated between January 1st, 2014 and December 31st, 2022
Duration: 3 + 2 years (+ possible long-term contract in the University)
Gross salary: 36.000 € / 42.500 € (+ an additional funding for research activities of 50.000€)
- “Juan de la Cierva” (for ‘young’ postdocs)
Possible applicants: PhDs graduated between January 1st, 2023 and December 31st, 2024
Duration: 2 years
Gross salary: 30.000 €
Applications for both programs should be completed before mid January 2025.
