About me

Foto_indyIgnacio Íñiguez de la Torre (born 1981), is associate Professor of Electronics (Applied Physics Department, University of Salamanca, Spain). He is with the Research Group on High-Frequency Nanoelectronic Devices (nanoelec.usal.es) since 2004.

He is co-author of more than 50 JCR papers (h-index=17), more than 50 contributions to conference proceedings with peer-review and 2 book chapters. He presented more than 100 contributions (10 invited) in International Conferences. He participated as Postdoc in a significant EU-funded project (ROOTHz within FP7) and in the research team in more than 20 research projects funded by different institutions.

 

 

His main research interest is in the development of novel device concepts for terahertz (THz) data processing, detection and emission using both narrow and wide bandgap III-V semiconductors, together with developing new educative innovations related to the field of electronics.
