He was one of the founding members of the Knowledge Transfer Group (GTC) LEA – Literaturas contemporáneas, industrias y tecnologías de la cultura escrita (Contemporary Literatures, Industries, and Technologies of Written Culture) in 2025. The group was established as part of the University of Salamanca’s initiative to promote knowledge transfer across all areas of knowledge: LEA was among the first groups constituted at the institution, officially beginning its activities in April 2025.
This Knowledge Transfer Group is made up of researchers, critics, and authors from the University of Salamanca working in the field of literature, primarily affiliated with the Faculty of Philology and several recognized Research Groups (GIR).
LEA emphasizes the importance of literature as a cultural asset, but also as a social and economic one, and seeks to highlight the value of sustained cultural outreach activities, institutional links, the importance of the publishing industry, and the very praxis of literary activity, especially within the broader context of contemporary literature. The group’s main approach is oriented toward cultural and humanistic knowledge transfer as a clear and explicit continuation of the activities carried out to date: book presentations, participation on prize juries, presence in the media, the development of teaching materials, and other forms of dissemination.
