The IBERDROLA Foundation has submitted an MSCA COFUND project to the 2025 call for proposals for postdoctoral researchers.
The University of Salamanca is participating as a Partner Organization in this project, meaning that researchers hired by the IBERDROLA Foundation will be able to choose to come to the University of Salamanca to carry out their research projects.
Specifically, our research group “Energy Optimization, Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics” will host a postdoctoral researcher to develop a project related to the Decarbonization research lines, which may address:
- New industrial technological solutions (heat pumps, electric furnaces, other green energy vectors).
- Software and Energy Management Systems (EMS) for energy management.
- Green hydrogen to expand production and reduce costs.
- Self-sufficient systems, storage, and self-generation. Techno-economic models.
- Future deployment scenarios and energy needs.
