My profile

Hello, my name is Pilar, I am a 29 girl from Seville, with a degree in Journalism and a MA in Institutional Communication and Politics by the University of Seville. I have worked in some companies, which belongs to the communication field like institutional departments and some national media. In 2014 I decided to start the degree of English Translation and Interpreting at the University Pablo de Olavide in Seville. The languages I am currently studying are English and French, but I have a basic knowledge of German. Last year I had the opportunity of improving mi level of French thanks to the Erasmus grant I received that gave me the opportunity of staying in France the whole year, specifically in Besançon, a village situated in the region of La Franche-Comté. Furthermore, last year, during the first semester I was in Canada, in a little town called Halifax (which belongs to the English part of the country), because I received the Atlanticus grant, that was financed by the Santander bank. Both experiences were hard, but at the same time, very enriching for me. Now I am studying in Salamanca the last period of my degree and next year I am going to go to Brussels to work as a Spanish assistant at the University Saint Louis. The latter grant only lasts three months, so I will be there during the first semester and I want to take advantage to visit the city and improve my French. I am sure that it will be an unbelievable experience.
