he probado el adaptador wifi EDUP con chip Realtek RTL8188CUS 802.11n:

y una vez configurado /etc/network/interfaces  con el WPA-SSID y WPA-PSK correspondiente, funciona directamente

auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
wpa-ssid “<mySSID>”
wpa-psk “<MySuperSecretPassword>”

Ahora toca hacer lo mismo para la distribución ChameleonPi y también funciona.
