I studied Biology in the University of Salamanca (2010-2014) and then obtained a Master’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology in the Autonomous University of Madrid (2014-2015). I started my PhD in late 2015 at Arantxa’s lab, in which I am studying the metabolism of glioblastoma stem cells and how to exploit it for therapeutic purposes. During this time, I have carried out two short research stays, one in Dr. Ana Ramírez’s lab at IMDEA Food Madrid to perform Seahorse Biognosys experiments, and one in Dr. Jean-Charles Sanchez’s lab at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) to perform DIA-MS based proteomics. We recently published some of our results as an open access article in Ebiomedicine (DOI: 10.1016/j.ebiom.2020.103134).
