A todo el mundo cuando hablamos de Francia se nos viene a la mentre París y su mítica torre Eiffel. Pero nuestro país vecino es mucho más que eso. El año pasado hice una ruta por los castillos del Loira, un enorme conjunto de obras arquitectónicas que destacan por su belleza. Son 42, pero yo sólo pude ver 4, Chambord, Blois, Chenonceau y Villandry, muy bonitos todos ellos.
Son edificios muy antiguos, que han sido restaurados, y muchos todavía lo están siendo en la actualidad. Su exterior es una preciosidad, pero lo que de verdad es digno de ver y visitar son sus preciosos interiores, decorados al más puro estilo renacentista con todo tipo de adornos de la época. En algunos además destacan los cuidados jardines, como el castillo de Villandry, donde su principal atractivo recae en el exterior del mismo, con una gran laberinto de jardines y flores.
Animo a todo el que lea esto a que visite estos bonitos castillos, ya que a todo el que los visite le van a gustar, independientemente de que nos guste la historia o el arte. Es una buena forma de conocer otras partes de Francia. Además, en los castillos hay actividades de recreo, como montar en barca y dar un paseo por el Loira, pasear en un carro de caballos o sentarse a la sombra de los árboles mientras contemplas el precioso paisaje:).
