Han sido desarrolladas una serie de pequeñas funcionalidades que permiten tener mayor control sobre ciertos aspectos de gestión de los blogs. A continuación vamos a explicar brevemente cada una de ellas para que podáis sacarles el mayor partido posible:

Ocultar blog
Esta herramienta nos permite ver y modificar la visibilidad de nuestro blog. Inicialmente todos los blogs son visibles, por lo que pueden aparecer en las diferentes secciones del portal de Diarium. Si deseamos que nuestro blog no se liste en dichas secciones tendremos que desplazarnos al menú “Opciones -> Ocultar Blog” y pulsar en “Cambiar estado”. Este procedimiento es el mismo si nuestro blog está oculto y deseamos que vuelva a ser visible.

Gestionar usuarios
Por defecto todos los blogs tienen un único usuario. Si deseamos que nuestro blog pueda ser editado o gestionado por otros usuarios podremos hacerlo desde el menú “Usuarios -> Gestionar usuarios”. Con esta herramienta podremos seleccionar a un usuario de Diarium y asignarle un rol dentro de nuestro blog. Si el usuario que deseamos añadir no aparece en la lista se debe a que dicho usuario nunca ha accedido al sistema por lo que para añadirlo a un blog primero deberá iniciar sesión en Diarium.

El menú está formado por un enlace a la página de inicio del blog, la cual está definida en “Opciones -> Lectura”, y el listado completo de páginas de nuestro blog . Si queremos personalizar este listado para que sólo aparezcan en el menú las páginas que deseemos podemos hacerlo desde “Páginas -> Elementos Menú”. Esta herramienta muestra un listado con todas las páginas del blog, permitiendo seleccionar cuáles queremos que se muestren en el menú y cuáles no marcando o desmarcando la casilla que aparecen al lado de cada página.
